Uses & occasions

A pair of petal-edged diyas that look as good unlit as lit.

  • Diwali: line several sets along the entrance, a staircase or the edge of your rangoli.
  • Daily pooja and aarti on the mandir shelf, one on either side of the deity.
  • Lakshmi pooja, Dhanteras and Dev Deepawali thalis.
  • Return gifts for Diwali, griha pravesh, baby shower or wedding functions — a set of 2 is a complete, ready gift.
  • Table décor for dinners and mehendi nights.
Care
  • Let the diya cool fully before cleaning.
  • Wipe the marble with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
  • Wipe off spilt ghee, oil, kumkum or haldi the same day — white marble is porous and can absorb stains.
  • Never use lemon, vinegar, bathroom cleaners or scrubbers on marble; they dull the surface.
  • The brass bowl will darken naturally with use. To restore its shine, use a brass cleaner or pitambari on the brass only, keeping it off the marble.

I recently ordered from this brand and had a pretty good experience. The product feels well-made, and the overall quality is impressive. I also appreciate the effort that goes into building a brand from scratch. It's great to see a startup focusing on quality rather than just selling a product. Happy with my purchase!
