Uses & occasions
A clean teardrop shape that echoes the flame itself — at home in both traditional and modern spaces.
- Diwali rows on windowsills, balcony ledges and entrance steps.
- Everyday aarti on the mandir, or a pair beside a photo frame for a quiet remembrance.
- Centrepieces for dinner tables, a console or a coffee table with a runner.
- Return gifts for Diwali, housewarmings and weddings.
Care
- Let the diya cool fully before cleaning.
- Wipe the marble with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
- Wipe off spilt ghee, oil, kumkum or haldi the same day — white marble is porous and can absorb stains.
- Never use lemon, vinegar, bathroom cleaners or scrubbers on marble; they dull the surface.
- The brass bowl will darken naturally with use. To restore its shine, use a brass cleaner or pitambari on the brass only, keeping it off the marble.
