Hand-carved from natural stone with a hand-spun brass insert. Veining and tone vary from piece to piece. Photographs show multiple sets styled together.

Care
  • Let the diya cool fully before cleaning.
  • Wipe the marble with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away; use a soft brush to clear the carved swastik.
  • Wipe off spilt ghee, oil, kumkum or haldi the same day — white marble is porous and can absorb stains.
  • Never use lemon, vinegar, bathroom cleaners or scrubbers on marble; they dull the surface.
  • The brass bowl will darken naturally with use. To restore its shine, use a brass cleaner or pitambari on the brass only, keeping it off the marble.
